- 1 Rutabaga, peeled and cubed in 3/4 inch pieces
- 1 Tbsp. Bacon Grease
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar, more if desired
Place rutabaga cubes in a pot and add enough water to just barely reach the top of the cubes.
Add bacon grease, salt, and sugar. Boil until the rutabaga is fork tender and enjoy.
